Casting Process for Jewelry Casting Equipment

Jul 14, 2026 Leave a message

The casting process using jewelry casting equipment transforms precious metal materials into jewelry components that meet design specifications through stages such as melting, molding, and cooling. Given that jewelry often features intricate structures and complex shapes, the casting process requires precise control over parameters-such as temperature, pressure, and pouring speed-to ensure the integrity and surface quality of the castings.

The process begins with the creation of a mold tailored to the specific jewelry design and the pretreatment of the metal materials. During processing, the equipment heats precious metals-such as gold, platinum, or karat gold-to a molten state to achieve optimal fluidity. Subsequently, techniques like vacuum casting or centrifugal casting are employed to inject the molten metal rapidly and uniformly into the mold; this ensures the liquid metal fully fills even the finest structural details, thereby minimizing defects such as incomplete filling or porosity.

Once casting is complete, the process moves to cooling, demolding, and post-processing. After the metal has fully solidified, the casting is removed from the mold and undergoes cleaning, trimming, grinding, and polishing to eliminate surface residues and excess material, ensuring the product meets design requirements. For jewelry with complex structures, further precision processing may be required to enhance the quality of the finished piece.
